Tandy Leather / Stamping & Carving
Tandy Craftool 8027-00 Ceramic Swivel Blade
One ceramic replacement blade for a matched swivel-knife holder, with seller guidance to strop when needed.
CHOOSE THE TOOL FOR YOUR WORK
A ceramic replacement, with upkeep still part of the choice
The 8027-00 is the ceramic material choice to compare with the selected steel Angle blade. It is a replacement cutting part, not a complete swivel knife. That matters if this is your first carving purchase: you still need a correctly matched holder.
The full description identifies decorative tooling-leather carving as the intended role. Its no-sharpening wording is accompanied by an instruction to strop when needed, so it should not be read as maintenance-free. Tandy’s family documentation names Craftool Pro, Ergo Handle and Easy Comfort knife families, but the exact selected cutting profile and width are not established by the generic ceramic-family description.
Choose it after confirming the holder and the actual profile you will receive. The steel offer is explicitly a ¼ in Angle option and may be easier to compare when that geometry is the priority. No unlimited edge life, universal holder fit or specific sharpening/stropping method is supplied for this ceramic blade.
